Vagrant God

Vagrant God is a melodic doom band from Oslo, consisting of Kjetil Ottersen who singlehandedly composed Funerals "From These Wounds", Cecilie Langlie from Skumring and Tom Simonsen from Omit and Skumring (amog others). While doom metal bands usually have a very conventional take on the album covers, with dead trees, birds, sunsets, forest and whatnot, Vagrant God agreed to visualize it in a different way. Drawing inspiration from old comic books from the eighties, this displays a feeling of disgust, claustrophobia and the hopeless confusion of being trapped in a strange place. Spiced with a hint of psychedelia, of course.
